Really odd pub, this one. Seems to be quite popular for midday diners. But to me, its a far more dingy (in the nicest sense of the word) drinking den.
Entrance is a confused little alcove, where you can see the bar through a serving hatch and then need to work out how to get to the front of it. I went right - into a claustrophobic dining room. Look ceilings and the amount of furniture makes this quite difficult to navigate, without knocking over a pensioners walking frame.
A little alcove where the drinker congregate vertically. And then a small front bar, which could have been accessed via the alcove door to the left.
Two/three real ales on - Including Brains SA. But I was tempted by the handpull pumpclip of Malvern Gold Cider - which was actually dispensed from an out of sight box. Still, nice to have something different.
The much better Plough is just down the road - but the patrons here refer to it as "the waiting room of death". Can't think what they hold against it!

Looks ancient from the outside (concave, as noted elsewhere) but the interior has been knocked around somewhat. Tight and multi area'd, a bit dated décor-wise. Two main rooms, dining and bar. The dining area has tasteless furnishings and a large pool table dominates the bar area. A pretty bare feel with wooden floor and magnolia painted walls. Very basic rear patio, though had music piped and the selection wasn’t too bad. Three ales; Bombardier, Tribute and Charles Wells/Dogfish Head DNA. My DNA was in good form and slipped down quickly. Nothing overly special in a city full of good boozers, but the DNA I had gives me cause to say it's worth a look as a wildcard if you like your ale.

A friendly and chatty pub this one. The only downside here was the fairly bland interior. The Tribute was in good shape here.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Farriers Arms
One of many renowned pubs on a Worcester crawl, although I felt that the character of the interior was less interesting than the jumbled multi-building façade initially suggested. Not the most exciting choice of real ale from the three handpumps either, with only Bombardier, Charles Wells DNA and Tribute (£1.55 for a half) available. Nothing wrong with the place, just a bit underwhelming.

From the outside this appears to be a very old building,but the interior doesn't contain too much original features.To the left of the entrance is the wooden floored bar with a no children policy.There is a pool table,flat screen and access to the loos.The island bar also serves the seperate lounge opposite and this area looks more set up for diners,with quite a few booth seating sets.Three handpumps serving St Austell Tribute,CW Bombardier and the CW/Dogfish Head collaboration DNA with ale quality very respectable.Decent enough stop on a crawl but overshadowed by The Anchor virtually next door.

This is a multi-building corner pub with a patio area at the back. The whole place is curved, due to the layout of the three buildings it occupies. Older at heart i am sure, the pub exterior is a mix of Georgian and Victorian. The first two buildings are of the same design, just that the second (and connecting) building is lower. They are in cream painted brick, with a moulded cornice and rounded sash windows. The larger building has a cream rendered lower frontage and a cream plaster and timber projecting upper. Another Worcester delight.
The interior is open plan around quite a long bar. The old rooms have been ripped out, sadly. There are several entrances. The decor is one of white artexy walls (with supporting beams), with a white ceiling, and a mix of wood and red tile flooring. We walked into what seemed to be a dining area, so we followed the room around, past a a side area in which there is a pool table, to a smaller, quieter bar, where we sat. This had pictures of Worcester, landscapes and horse ephemra (unsurprisingly) on the walls. There was a silent TV showing footy and the music was pop stuff at volume. The service was fine and the clientele mainly younger, including families. We didn't eat here so can't comment on the food.
Beer; usual tap stuff with Wells Bombardier, Fullers London Pride and decent St Austell Tribute.
Sadly, i felt a little uncomfotable here due to the age of the clientele and the music. Likely just the time of my visit and i would return for one.

The Farriers Arms is a nice looking old pub that is just off one of Worcesters main shopping streets.
The pub is fairly small inside the first room is the lounge which is narrow and widens out towards the end,there is a small bar in this room but there are no handpumps on it,you can see through to the bar area which has the handpumps on it.
The bar is also fairly cramped and there is a pool table in this room,the pub has bare boards throughout and normal tables and chairs.
There were three real ales on the bar i had a drink of St Austell Tribute and this was a very nice drink the other beers were London Pride and Bombadier.
This is a proper drinkers pub and i was quite happy having a drink in here.
