The Rose & Crown was our final Worcestershire stop of the day, located in the pretty village of Feckenham.
It was fairly quiet on our early Friday evening visit, with a couple of other people in the enticing garden at the rear. We decided to buck the trend and sit inside. All tables had reserved on them, which seemed to prove the theory that pubs are still striving to encourage customers outdoors wherever possible. However, a reserved sign was removed for us.
We had taken a seat in the bar, but there is also a separate lounge the other side of the bar. Banks's Amber Bitter & Brakspear Oxford Gold are the regular beers. Wychwood Hobgoblin Gold was a guest, whilst they also stocked a real cider - Thatcher's Traditional.
A decent, friendly place that could have done with a few more customers to improve atmosphere. Although, it was still before 6pm when food service starts.

Perfect Village pub. Enter and directions to the bar and lounge. We tried to follow the lounge and walked all the way around to end up in the bar!
The roaring fire meant that we were being guided by greater forces.
A friendly welcome and a peruse of the menu and beers on off (4 real ales) - I had really good Worcestershire Gold (not seen before) and a fine lunch.
Recommended.
