Amazingly, I haven't noticed this one before - despite it sitting on the main street. I had time for a visit before the X50 arrived at the stop opposite.
Good points - a very nice garden, shaded with a huge umbrella and an outside bar. Packed with "ladies that lunch" on my Friday visit.
Bad points - I am glad I tasted the cask before committing. Its a Timothy Taylor championship pub but the Boltmaker had not fared well in the heatwave. Cruzcampo - 20p cheaper than the Star Inn (so I should have this as a good point?). Sadly, poor service on my visit. One woman swanning around dealing with everything other than the punter at the bar. The other one made the cardinal and unforgiveable sin of serving the local sat at the bar first, despite the fact he initially had a drink and I had been waiting longer. Exasperation confounded when she had run out of baileys for the old boy and then ran off to find another bottle. Little in the way of an apology or sorry for your wait.

Had a quick visit here yesterday and enjoyed my Pershore Oh Betty. Staff and the locals friendly. Didn't have time to wander round.

Decent pub with 2 nice gardens . The beer is ok Doombar, hooky and usually a local guest beer. A selection of lagers and ciders . Could have a better selection of ale but cant have everything..

The Angel Inn had a relaxing atmosphere and pleasant and friendly staff. The interior consisted of lots of oak wall panelling, parts of which date from the Tudor period. There was a small and compact bar area over on the right of the main entrance. There were four handpumps, with only two in use, serving Doombar and Old Hooky. There was a comfortable seating area on the left of the entrance and a dining area at the rear. The food is all locally sourced and prices are very reasonable, disappointed now we didn't stay for lunch.
