As stated below, more of a café in a pub on a busy road. Doesn't open after 8 in the evening.
We called in for the buffet breakfast which was OK but nothing special. A couple of local ales on in the shape of Enville and Holden's.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Island Pool
Not sure whether this is a café-like pub or a pub-like café, but it certainly has elements of both - opening for breakfast but seemingly closing at 20:00 most days. The L-shaped interior has one dining room along the frontage, with a larger carvery / dining area at the back and the bar in between (all parts having a semi-traditional look). However, on a fine Spring evening, the front beer garden was a pleasant spot if you can put up with the passing traffic noise... Enville Ale (£4.50) and Holden's Golden Glow available from the three handpumps.
