A terraced cream rendered Georgain styled pub with white paintwork, dormer windows and front and back patios. Also does B&B accommodation and is in the GBG 2010.
The interior has two areas; a dining area and a bar/lounge area. The decor is a mix of the traditional and the modern, being in white and black beam, with some exposed brick. There are modern wood settles and old photographs, modern print and cartoons on the walls, with mugs and jugs hanging from the ceiling, as well as other ephemera dotted about. The service was fine, the clientele mixed and it was absolutely rammed, as they had a beer festival on in the back patio area - which ddn't help my mood - being anti-social and all that.
Beer; tap stuff with Banks's MILD on keg as well. On handpull there was Kinver Edge Light Railway, Wye Valley HPA, Bewdley Brewery's Old School Bitter and a good Timothy Taylor Landlord.
A nice enough place - in a mix of modern and traditional, serving a good menu - though i didnt eat. Sadly, i would rather have visited when the bber festival wasn't on, as i am miserable.

awesome riverside pub in the town of bewdley, lots of real ales from wye valley brewery including HPA. The dining room to the right of the bar has a warm feel to it. The bar is cosy although it can somtimes seem a little crowded.
