The Shed Alehouse closed and everyone piled into here. A coincidence that the Shed closes on a Sunday at exactly the point the football starts? I think not.

Typical sports pub - with pool table, massive screen and other screens around a crowded bar. I couldn't see any cask on - although when I got the last seat available at the end of the bar, I could make out a swan neck hand pull. I wouldn't have trusted it mind, so went for Eurofizz, brewed in Manchester.

A great atmosphere - mainly because of the VAR decision between West Ham and Arsenal - which I feel may be talked about for years!

Oh, an external St George Cross painted on white walls.

A whitewashed building with no name on the exterior wall, but the hanging sign gives it away. A large, open, quasi-hexagonal bar inside with a pool table in the middle, glowing neon bar back and pea green walls, like a cheap small town nightclub – very weird for somewhere like Pewsey. No cask ale to be had (6X and Pride on bottles), just keg, so did a half of the Wrongbow cloudy which earned a tut from the yokel next to me. The only pub in Pewsey with the football on, which may explain why it attracted some customers on my Sunday afternoon sojurn. For completists only.
