Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The George Inn
Characterful old inn in the picturesque National Trust village, aimed firmly at the day visitor market and all as smartly traditional as you would expect. On a Saturday lunchtime, it was no surprise to find nearly all tables across all rooms laid up for those dining, but there is a little general seating in the immediate bar area. Also has The Courtyard patio garden at the rear. As a Wadworth house, I found 6X, the Swordfish rum infused ale (£5.30) and Lacock pale ale (anonymous, but presumably from the same source) on three of the six handpumps, along with a couple of Rosie's Pig ciders.
