Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Bell Inn
The Bell Inn is located a short way out of Lacock village on Bowden Hill.
With it being a nice day, we opted to sit outside in the pub garden, which also has a covered area where a few groups were eating.
The house ale is Great Western Beau Bell, but they also had a couple of guest beers - Palmer's Dorset Gold & Hook Norton Hooky Mild and a real cider - Weston's Family Reserve. I opted for the Mild, at just 2.8%
We initially spotted a sign in the doorway saying that they were fully booked for the day. But I think this was a sign that they had been putting in a more prominent position outside on very busy days. We were undeterred, as we could see free tables and we were warmly welcomed in. A good thing, as this turned out to be the best pub in Lacock.
