Modest-looking Wadworth outlet. Modernised but in a fairly traditional manner with wood floor, varnished wood bar, third length tongue and groove wood painted blue and magnolia. As mentioned below, there’s a fold-back window at the front with views of…a busy main road. Unexplored upstairs area. 60s easy listening on the speakers. Three cask over four sticks, Waddies Henry's, 6X and an ostensibly decent but brew-fault Horizon (NBSS 2). All the other pubs round here were packed on a sunny BHM but just four other punters were in situ here – pub needs to sell itself a bit better. The minimum wage young female staff weren’t really helping the cause; whilst not actively disengaged, there certainly was a pervading air of nonchalance when they weren’t having to deal with orders. Feels like it needs a rethink – Bradford is hardly short on pub options and currently this place feels like it’s a solution in search of a problem. 5.5

Very nice and friendly place. Gave me directions to other pubs in the area, but came back here to get food as they had a much better selection. Sells real ale, according to their card, they have Wadworth 6x and there own Dandy's Pride, though they only had 6X and something called Henrys. A must visit if you are in the area.

Decent enough pub just off the town centre and surprisingly large once you get in. Interesting galleried landing upstairs although I'm not sure this was open on our visit. There's a couple of pleasant tables right in the windows that fold right back, so you're almost sat outside. Not much to look at apart from the traffic though. We didn't try the food, but it looked a bit on the expensive side (e.g.; £11 for a burger).
All the beers were from Wadworth's – St. George & the Dragon, 6X, Horizon and Henry's IPA. The cider was Stowford Press.
