Rob Hunter left this review about The Crown Hotel

Visited October 2025 - three hand pulls with all available - Black Sheep Bitter, Kirkstall Pale Ale and Ilkley Joshua Jane. Not the most exciting line-up - one for the more traditionalists, perhaps.

Keg is mainly mainstream but I did spot a couple of more interesting options - Northern Monk Faith and Five Points JUPA.

I suspect food is served as I saw what appeared to be menus at the bar.

There are different rooms and some are available for hire. Gents toilets upstairs.

It was alright to try but I can't see me being that fussed about a return visit.

Graham Coombs left this review about The Crown Hotel

A small town hotel (but no longer an hotel) which has had a fairly smart refurb and reopened after a long closure. A large room at the front extends round a big brass-topped counter, with a mix of booths, low and high tables. Decor is mainly dark grey and green. In the corner is a separate area labelled Tap Room which looks good for drinkers, while at the back is a large bright glass-sided restaurant and ranks of outdoor tables in courtyard and patio areas with a car park beyond. It is all quite tasteful, slightly modernised but traditional enough. Ales on were Black Sheep, Saltaire Blonde and Kirkstall Pale, the latter in good shape and at a very reasonable £3.90. Five Points and Northern Monk craft brews were also noted. Nice enough and not overpriced.
