Formerly a pub called the Brunswick it now labels itself as a Bar and Restaurant although the atmosphere is quite “pubby”. One open plan, U shaped, room with the counter down one side and a pool table in the short arm at the back, a staircase takes up the centre of the U, I didn't explore its mysteries. Modern décor, of course, but I didn't notice any candles, twigs or taupe walls, just a few low sofas and armchairs along with bar stools ranged along the counter. Biggish range of keg stuff plus two pulls serving John Smith's. Quite a friendly place and not pretentious.
