The New Inn is a decent looking stone built pub that had plenty of hanging baskets outside.
Once inside there is a single oblong shaped room which is carpeted, the bar is to the left side, the seating is comfy bench type and small stools and a few normal tables and chairs, there is a pool table in a separate area behind the bar, which is served from the same bar.
There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Tetley Cask which was a decent drink, the other beers were Doom Bar and an house beer called New Inn Pale Ale.
The TVs were showing horse racing and some decent looking food was being served.
The pub was very busy on my Saturday dinner visit.
I thought this was a decent pub to have a drink in.

An open plan pub on the corner of the Market Place, you can discern where two bars used to be as there is a front to rear split with the counter serving both. Bit of a wild carpet but other than that all very traditional with bench seating, cast iron tables, chairs and stools. Mainly light wood on modern room dividers and the bar counter, one corner is panelled in dark wood, has a nice fireplace and is decorated with old photos of the Wetherby area. Sky Sports was being shown on three big screens, there is at least one machine and a pool table occupies the back bar. Two handpumps dispense decently kept Tetleys bitter and Taylors Landlord, otherwise the usual keg range applies. A mix of customers on my lunchtime visit with older locals, a family group including well behaved toddlers and a few OAP diners.
