An old roadside pub which clearly suffered a major modernisation in the past, but now feels a bit dated. The open plan interior round a central bar is tidy enough but has rather too many large screens for comfort. It does at least have some ales: TT Landlord and Ossett Silver King, plus a Lilley's cider, on handpump. Adequate for a pint but don't go out of your way.
