A solid community pub, with one or two bits of tarting up but generally conventional furnishings and decor. There is a nice front bar, with low tables and some bench seating, an indifferent sort of middle area apparently used for dining, then a large tabled room at the back with a garden and play area behind. There is one sports TV in the bar and regular entertainments on Fridays and Saturdays. A friendly welcome, with TT Landlord and Ossett Yorkshire Blond on handpump, a little bit fresh but nice enough.
