Old Boots left this review about Old Halfway House
Stone built dining pub on the road north out of Horbury luckily with a bus stop outside and across the road. It says dining pub and yup it is, inside is a multi room layout, at the front a bit of a drinking area both vertical and seated at higher tables. Beyond it seems laid out for dining in various little spaces. The counter is on the left once inside the front door, however most punters will enter via the side door from the car park. Four pulls but just a dreary Bradfield Farmers Blonde as a cask choice, low T-bars of lager, Guinness and cider plus a couple of solos with Neck Oil and Heineken. Blown up OS map on one wall, hexagon tiles by counter, board floor and miscellaneous prints etc. A former Tetleys house according to a plan on the Gents.
