Old Boots left this review about The Pig Iron
Deary drinking den opposite the Town Hall and Empire Theatre. Big U shaped room with a raised area at one end and an outside area to the side. The counter is central and L Shaped, just the usuals on a variety of T-Bars and solos, of interest might be Salt+Molson Coors Alpacalyse otherwise no. Mix of banquette seating and chairs at wooden tables, it is carpeted and has a lot of screens. Decorated mostly with England flags.
