Another one bites the dust. The site is currently fenced off with signs proclaiming the imminent arrival of yet another Tesco Express. Whether this will involve the building being modified, or razed to the ground, is unclear at present. Unfortunately, the pub's more recent incarnations never matched its eighties heyday as a Webster's tied house.
