The Woodend is a large estate type pub that is situated on a side street just off the busy leeds road.
Once inside there is a single room which is square shaped and very large,it looked more like working mans club room than pub,the bar faces on entry,the floor is part carpeted and wood,the seating is bench seating around the edge of the room and lots of normal tables and chairs in the middle,there is a very large stage to the left with a large dance floor in front of it,there is also a pool table in a small area to the right.
There is a TV to the front showing music videos.
There are no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Tetley Extra cold crap which was cold and crap,the other keg bitter was John Smiths extra cold crap.
The pub was empty on my Saturday dinner visit,but no doubt the pub should get busier when entertainment is on in the evenings.
