An edge of town pub it’s a mix of the unspoiled and the modern. Two front rooms are at angles off the front entrance where there was a now gone corridor. Both rooms are in an old style but the left one is dominated by a pool table. Beyond is a larger space with the counter on the right, seating in what may have been a separate room on the left. Two T-bars of usuals with three pulls between, just a pricey (£5.50!) Wainwright Gold on but very drinkable in spite of the obvious. Full of locals mostly 30-40, definitely a locals pub.

The White Horse is a plain looking town pub that is just down from the now closed Victoria pub.
Once inside there are two smallish rooms either side of the main entrance,the left room had comfy bench seating and small stools,it is also carpeted,the room to the right is narrow with bench seating.
There was a TV showing sky sports football score updates.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Fuzzy Duck Golden Cascade which was a decent drink,the other beer was Tetley Bitter.
This is a decent pub to have a drink in.
