The Railway Inn looks like an estate pub.
The pub is quite close to Monkhill train station, just walk across the car park to the left and go down the steps,go the roadway and you will get lost.
Once inside there is a decent sized single square shaped room with a large almost island bar in the middle, the seating to the front is comfy bench type and normal tables and chairs, the seating is similar down the right right side.
There are no real ales on the bar,the keg bitter was the really crap John Smiths extra Cold crap, which was cold and crap.
There is a TV to the front which was showing cricket, the rear area had a pool table and a TV which was showing football, there is also a small raised area to the rear.

This pub is located next to Monkhill Station, using the pedestrian walkway instead of the road. It serves regular Theakston’s Bitter and has a pool table and jukebox. It is a very spacious pub with a nice beer garden which is lovely during the summer months. It’s also just a stones throw away from the Hope & Anchor and can be reached using the same buses.
