Not open during the day Monday to Friday. The licensee told me that everyone is working in factories so there's no custom during the day.

The Winston stands alone behind a car park and a few picnic tables next to the railway line. The bar faces some high tables and the entrance. There are more high tables to the left where there was some disco equipment set up in front of a plasma screen that was playing golden oldies courtesy of Vintage TV. Sky Sports is advertised, but no major sport was taking place during my visit on Monday afternoon last week. More seating is found in an area to the right of the bar and in the left rear are a pool table and a door that leads to the patio. Here there is covered seating and steps down to an unmaintained grass covered area.
The bar is stocked with standard keg products and there are specials on drinks such as bombs. I didn’t see any food advertised. I found the service to be polite, but not that friendly.

An Original Your Pub. lively with a mix of comfy chairs and big solid tables with stools. Large selection of beers and lagers at good prices but no Real Ale. Decked area at the front and a covered smoking area at the back. possibly a garden at the rear as well.
Sky TV and a pool table.
