Sounded like it would be an enticing Timmy Taylor tap outlet but in actuality it's a modern large refit with dire piped music and a dining area at the end – you could be anywhere and nowhere. “Are you eating?” - no. When in Rome, so went for the two lesser spotted TT ales of the six I could see, the Landlord Dark was very nice (NBSS 3.5) but the Havercake had a nose to it and I couldn’t finish it (NBSS 1.5). After a while it became clear that only Landlord was shifting. If this is their flagship pub they need to order a new flag and grease the pole a bit. GBG-listed but, frankly, I’d skip it next time.

No change to the layout but the decor is more pleasant. There’s still a dining area at the back but decorated with cask ends (metal), beyond is the beer garden. Only tables and chairs in the middle of the dining area with booths to one side and sofas and leather armchairs to the other. Sofas and a variety of seating options elsewhere. Eight pulls with the Taylor's range, a group of six in the middle of the counter with the other two on the counter end. The staff are liveried with Taylor's t-shirts and in some cases “Taylor’s on the Green” aprons. Beer is better since my last visit and it’s a fair renovation of their flagship pub.

Visited in January. Four hand pumps all offering Tim Taylor ales, including Poulters Porter, which I had not had before and was rather nice. A stylish pub with separate dining area to the rear. A real fire was going in the front bar. Think my half set me back £1.70.

A big modernised Taylors pub near the church and bus station, maybe their flagship pub in Keighley but the Boltmakers it aint. Basically a pub of two halves, the front is a modern style bar with dark stone, carpet and board floor treatments, fairly poncy furnishings of various armchairs and tables. A silent TV above the counter is tuned to a news station. The back end is labelled as a "please wait to be seated" dining area. Four handpumps with a range of Taylors beers, none very drinkable, cloudy cold Landlord isn't what you expect in Keighley, I should have had one of those craft beers out the fridge. Decorated with photos of various Timothy Taylor people.

This place reminds me of a Wetherspoons. It's aimed more at youth with its commercial largers and alcopops than your discerning real ale punter for whom there is a small choice. Can be quite noisy with music and the drunken crowd at times and there have been incidents with drunks in there that I've witnessed. Not a venue I'd frequent, especially with the Boltmakers Arms and Cricketer's Arms being so close and so much better.
