Well, only one thing has changed in the ten years since I last visited, the Wainwright has been replaced by Taylor’s Knowl Spring, the pump clip being on a hand written paper note on a Landlord clip on a Theakstons best clip. The toilets are down a side alley. Probably more pondlife than before, the fish tank is quite relaxing.

The Station is has the name implies opposite Ilkley train station.
Once inside there is a single oblong shaped room which runs to the rear, the room is carpeted and the seating is comfy bench type.
There are three TVs all were showing football.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Leeds Pale which was a nice drink, the other beer was John Smiths Cask.
I thought this was a decent enough pub to have a drink in before getting the train back to Leeds.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Station
Basic town pub opposite the railway terminus, focusing on TV sport and live music. Plain furniture and limited decor. Could have done without competing TV screens and jukebox, but friendly enough though. Two of four handpumps in operation, offering Tetley's Cask and Leeds Pale (£3.15). Selection of filled rolls for sale.

Called in for a quick pint whilst waiting for train, not the best of pubs but friendly enough. Had a pint in the bar next to pool table and and found the beer to be fine would visit again.

Down to earth pub opposite the railway and bus stations as the name suggests. Two groups of two handpulls doubling up on Tetleys Cask and Thwaites Wainwright, my pint was almost drinkable and I noted most customers were drinking mass market lager. An open plan design of one long thin room apart from a wider section at the front where some traditional furnishing remains in the form of cast iron tables, banquette seating and wooden stools, it also has a fairly neat tiled fireplace. The usual pub toys of TVs and a big projection screen plus darts are available.
