Old Boots left this review about Vocation & Co

Vocation’s Hebden taproom at the railway station end of the town and with a view of the boats on the canal. It’s split into three areas with the counter running towards the rear in the middle section. Decorated in their keynote spartan style of white walls, white tiles and light wood flooring, furnished with heavy chunky tables of thick wood on steel legs and benches or with a few plain wooden chairs, round the corner from the counter area are some taller tables with stools. The photos are mostly of their beer labels and you can have fun trying to remember which is what. Four cask lines and 20 keg lines, all the casks were their own brews but the kegs had a Radler, a couple of ciders and a selection of Vocation beers of all types plus one from Pastore. Pies and burgers available.

I couldn’t get along with this one with its cafe interior and plain decor. A few of their cask were on including a strange sweet stout. Very busy on a Saturday evening with some large groups looking for food. Dining is burgers only.

Run by a favourite brewery of mine, this is a café bar with a modern interior and a white metro tiled bar back. Was rammed so sat outside. Apparently there’s cask available but in the scrum at the bar it all looked keg to me so a rather nice Vocation Pina Colada crafty keg sour it was. Friendly locals outside, got chatting with some and was invited to stay for a session. Might not appeal to the traditionalists but there’s certainly a lot to enjoy here if you’re after beer and chat. 7.5

There are a few external benches, but on entering it felt more like a cafe with coffee type tables scattered around. However to the right up a step is a section with a rank of 6 seater booths with 2 seater tables along the window frontage and this area felt more pub like.Food plays a large role here and many punters will be dining but just drinking is fine.
There is a beer menu, with only two Vocation real ales in Heart & Soul(NBSS 4) and Bread & Butter but there are a further 16 keg options including guests and sparkling ciders.
More somewhere to pop into rather than a base for a session but worth a visit if you want to try some outlandish keg beers.

4 cask and 16 keg lines at Vocation & Co - a mix of their own Vocation ales and guests across both. Smells very foody when you go in. I think dining may be off to the right though didn't really investigate as the bar area was to the left.

I went for the Bread & Butter by Vocation on cask and found it a very pleasant drink. It slipped down a little too quickly so ended up ordering a Stout by Moor Beer Company (on keg) while waiting for my friend to finish his drink. At this time of year there aren't many places serving dark ales so I made the most of my chance and it was bloody lovely.

Seating was a bit limited but there was a shelf running the length of the left hand wall that we managed to perch at. The toilet facilities are a bit small for the size of the venue, with just two shared toilets just beyond the bar.

A place I would be happy to pay a return visit to, should the opportunity arise.

This is a modern bar set in part of an old hotel. It's a roughly L shaped room with a laminate floor, white walls and chunky low tables and chairs. There was no TV but music playing at a reasonable volume. When I first arrived I thought it was going to be all keg as everything is served from taps in the wall. However, the end four are slightly different and are cask. I went for the Brass Castle Bad Kitty (£3.60) then as time was limited a half of the Vocation Time & Space. This cost a whopping £3.10 but is 8.5% and was one of the smoothest easy drinking beers of that strength I had ever tried. This is another great venue in Hebden Bridge town centre that doesn't need to rely on TV Sport unlike most of the older pubs.

I am a great fan of Vocation Brewery beers, so it was a real treat to do a bit of extra supping, before heading for the train. The interior is very minimalistic, with white painted walls and oak furniture and oak bar. The bar also had Vocation written across the front. 15 keg and four cask beers to choose from on our visit, so we went for the Bread and Butter and the Heart and Soul - an excellent way to end a day's crawl around Hebden.

The old Moyles Hotel is now the brewery tap for Vocation brewery. It's fairly minimalist with standard seating and a couple of booths to the right as you enter. The bar is at right angles to the door where there are 4 cask ales pulled from taps in the back wall, plus numerous keg taps. They now do food which is based around assorted tacos. Note the flood proofing with the plug sockets etc, all 5 feet off the floor. We've been in here twice recently and will no doubt call again.

Called in for one on Bank Holiday Sunday. Pretty busy with most seats taken both inside and out. They had a couple of beers from Raw Brewing on the bar, so I had a pint of Hop Pole which was pretty good. They now give a 20p discount per pint for CAMRA members.

Quite a minimalist bar with stone floors and fake gas fires. There are wicker chairs and a couple of sofas in the room to the left with some interesting prints on the walls. They also have a full newspaper rack for customers which is a good sign. The bar is facing you as you enter and also doubles up as reception which is a bit strange. Five handpumps on the bar serving Pictish Brewers Gold plus 4 changing guests. I had a pint of Bays Devon Dumpling which was well kept if a little pricey. It's a bit cold and clinical really and feels like a typical hotel bar, which of course it is. It's worth calling in for one for the beer though.
