Locals pub in the Eccleshill/Undercliffe area of Bradford whose landlord is a keen promoter of cask ales. The pub has a couple of rooms. There is a lounge to the left as you enter with a short corridor leading to a bar/games room on the right. The lounge had some kind of buffet on offer. We overheard locals discussing the last Friday of the month being pie and pea day. But I couldn't see any sign of any pies nor peas! Either way, it had attracted quite a crowd. So there was no chance of finding any seating. The bar was equally busy with a pool table in use and a TV for sports. We ended up retreating to an outdoor area with 4 picnic tables, found to the left-hand side of the pub. There is also a separate smoking area at the front.
There are 4 handpulls, 2 in each room. The selection was Acorn Blonde, Marston's Wainwright Rambler, Butcombe Best Bitter & Kirkstall Three Swords. I opted for the Wainwright Rambler, apparently a limited edition variant of Wainwright, which seems a strange beer for Marston's to brew considering they have got rid of most of their beer range.
It was good to see a local pub so popular on a Friday afternoon.

The Milners Arms is a decent looking white painted pub that is in a decent area of Bradford.
Once inside the pub has two separate rooms,i had a drink in the lounge to the left because this room had customers in it,the bar to the right did'nt.
The lounge is oblong shaped and carpeted, the seating is comfy bench type and small stools, the tables are copper topped.
There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Ossett Silver King, which went down well, the other beers were Old Speckled Hen,and one from Ossett.
The bar room to the right is also oblong shaped and runs to the rear, there is a pool table to the rear of this room.
This is a decent enough pub, there is a chippy just up from it.
