Old Boots left this review about The George
Pleasant, biggish, roadside pub with two bars, on the right a smaller almost public bar but set out with longer tables and chairs. The counter in here has six hand pulls but I believe only four are ever in use, White Rat, Craven Yorkshireman, Tetleys and with reversed clip Rudgate Viking, the beers were in decent condition. Its got a couple of machines and screens as well. The other bar is larger and has a bit of a lounge feel about it although rather plain in decor, there are a couple of screensin here as well. Just keg beers in this bar, a horseshoe of standard lager, cider and John Smiths, supplemented with solos for Neck Oil, Heinekin 0 and Guinness. Nice garden to the side.
