Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Dog & Gun
Cosy and carpeted local pub that appears to be just about the best pub in Wibsey. It is sent on a bit of a bank above the local roads with car parks and entrances both at the front and the rear.
Inside, it is fairly open-plan and there were a few in on our mid-Friday afternoon visit. Children are welcome.
The regular cask ale is Tetley's Cask. Guest beers were Timothy Taylor Landlord, Ossett Yorkshire Blonde & Goose Eye Chinook. There was no sign of any real cider.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Dog & Gun
Although on a suburban main road, this still looks and feels like a village pub (which it would once have been). Partly opened-out to leave an overall L-shaped arrangement with several extra side seating areas. Semi-traditional furniture and decor throughout. Four real ales on handpump: Tetley's Cask, Elland's White Prussian, Anaconda from Salamander (£3.65, excellent) and Twisted Wheel's Moral Panic. Three draught ciders also noted.

Will Larter left this review about The Dog & Gun
This was my first pub in Wibsey, and like others later the same day is a stone built village pub that initially seems incongruous in a traffic-dominated suburb of Bradford, but of course this would have been a small market town in its own right not much more than a hundred years ago. The interior is somewhat opened out, but there's a lot of detail to like, which gives the place a bit of character. The bar counter features four hand pumps from four different Yorkshire breweries (see photo), though Tetleys of course is no longer brewed in Yorkshire. I went for the Brass Castle Misfit, which was in excellent condition: a good start to my day. The young man behind the bar was friendly and helpful, and put up with a certain amount of joshing from the rather older regulars. I was made to feel welcome and I'd have been happy to try some of the other beers, but I had three or four more pubs to do before the rugby league kicked off at Odsal, so had to make a move.

Old Boots left this review about The Dog & Gun Inn
Nice enough pubco pub with various rooms / drinking areas, decorated with fake beams and laminate floors, there are four pulls of well kept beers, Tetleys, Wells and a couple of smaller breweries plus a T-bar of the usuals.
