The Rising Sun is a Hall & Woodhouse pub that has opening hours of: Monday 11:45 - 14:45 & 17:00 – 22:30, Tuesday to Thursday 11:45 - 14:45 & 17:00 – 23:00, Friday and Saturday 11:45 – 23:00 and Sunday 12:00 – 10:30.
Outside the front of the pub are four picnic tables that sit behind a waist high brick wall. More outside seating can be found at the rear where there is some plastic patio furniture and a jumbrella.
The interior consists of seating in a front bar and more seating in a back bar that also houses a dartboard. Both bars contain a television that was showing muted football results via the BBC during my recent Saturday evening visit. A standard keg range was available from the bar and the three hand pumps were drawing Tanglefoot, Sussex and First Call. I am told that this pub serves food, but I did not get a chance to read any menus.
This is a pleasant enough pub, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to revisit.

The Rising Sun is an ex Kings&Barnes tied house that is in a leafy area in the north of Horsham.
There were two rooms in this pub and we went in a smartish lounge which was very comfortable and there were four real ales on the bar we had a drink of K&B Sussex which was very nice the other beers were Tanglfoot,Badger best and a seasonal beer.
We thought this was quite a nice pub though a bit upmarket.
