Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Wheatsheaf

Traditional pub on the eastern approach to the village centre, with a L-shaped bar and a slightly raised pool room near the entrance, with lower-level and rear dining rooms beyond. Also has a split-level decking terrace on the left-hand side, with a further gravel area beyond (including a table-tennis table under cover of a small marquee). Presumably an unbranded Marston's pub, having Razor Back and Courage Directors (£5.50) on two of the six handpumps, along with Lilley's Bee Sting perry.

Strongers . left this review about The Wheatsheaf

The Wheatsheaf has a sunken dining area to the right of the entrance and a U-shaped bar area to the left with seating under the front windows and down the side walls. At the rear some steps lead up to another seating area where there is also a pool table. The bar supports two banks of three hand pumps, one of which was unused. This left Sharp’s Doom Bar, Ringwood’s Razor Back and Bank’s Sunbeam as the cask ale choices. There is also a premium keg selection. Food is available, the cheeseburger is priced at £14 and 12” pizzas with four toppings are available for £10. The doors open early for breakfast. Upstairs are reasonably priced en suite hotel rooms.
The is a television on the wall, but this was off in favour of some very low background music. Most other pubs in the area were showing the Queens Jubilee Celebrations the Saturday evening of my visit. I found this pub to be OK, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to revisit.
