Two cask ales, predictably Harvey's Sussex Best and the Long Man Long Summer. Plenty of keg options for a small venue, Orchard Pig cider, Budvar, Asahi, Neck Oil, Stella, Tiny Rebel Easy Livin, Camden Hells, Guinness, and Jubel Peach lager.

Pretty small pub, I believe community owned, in the centre (it's not a big place) of Balcombe. It is U shaped with seating along the level in the front door via regular tables and chairs. A couple of steps take you up to the level of the curved bar counter. Locals were mostly assembled on tall stools at the bar counter on in the tables opposite the bar counter. There were four tables beyond the bar counter set with condiments etc so presumably generally occupied by diners, for what looks like a rustic pub menu. There was a small TV on the wall in this area, but I suspect most are in here for the chat with fellow locals. A well-trodden parquet flooring and a boarded ceiling suggested this place has been here for many years on the main road junction through the village.
