Strongers . left this review about The Apple Tree
The L shaped bar to the left of the entrance of the Apple Tree faces a sofa seating area to the right adjacent to the entrance and standard furniture that runs along the rear. During a Friday afternoon visit there were a handful of locals in attendance of all ages, including some young children who were playing hide and seek. There was also a small rat-like dog scurrying around my feet as I supped on a pint of standard lager. The television was blasting out the Chase loud enough for the whole pub to hear, I didn’t spot any live sports signs. Around the rear of the bar is a games room with two pool tables, a dartboard and kids table football.
I do not recall there being any real ale, only standard keg. Cheap food is available, £5 for burger and chips. This has the feel of an estate boozer, although this may have just been because of the time of my visit. Anyhow, I do not plan to return.
