Village Robinson's pub that appears to be more of a destination for elderly diners during the daytime.
Staff greeting us seemed surprise that we were only there for a drink. All ales are from Robinson's. The regular beers are Cumbria Way & Wizard. The guest was Dizzy Blonde.
Both the front entrance from the street and the side entrance from the car park take you into the bar, where children are not allowed. A larger dining area can be found hidden around a corner and is a much brighter affair.
No fewer than 4 different members of staff asked if we were eating.
A fairly run of the mill pub/restaurant.
