Opposite Chichester Railway Station, the Foundry is an L-shaped pub with a central angled L-shaped serving counter that supports premium and mainstream craft keg alongside Carlsberg and four hand pumps, three of which were in use drawing St Austell’s Proper Job as well as Timothy Taylor’s Landlord and Unity Stout that is a collaboration between TT and Northern Monk Brewing. My visit was not long before midday on a recent Saturday when TNT Sport early kick-off football build up was muted on the televisions throughout and background music played. Around the bar are mostly high tables and stools, and to the left is a raised area with seating at the front and a shuffleboard table the rear. There’s a raised seating area in the centre front of the pub and more seating to the right, this is a large pub. It’s handily placed for the station so it’s a great meeting place before moving on to somewhere more interesting.

Handily placed outside the station, this has now been upgraded from its former sports bar incarnation with a bright, modern interior, clearly attempting to move upmarket and attract the food and coffee brigade. Beer range at time of visit was IPA and Old Speckled Hen, plus Timothy Taylor's Landlord. Garden at rear. Interesting to see how it develops.

Bang opposite the station , we only stopped here as we had missed the train to Bognor!

Large Greene King pub with 3 ales on, the Yardbird was drinkable, but not cheap this doubled with a pint of Moretti at £9.05 all a bit pricey for down here me thinks.

Live Rugby was about to start on the tv so the pub was filling up with blokes coming in to watch it. Not a bad pub and very handy for the station but not one I would choose to return to.

Large sports pub close to Chichester train station. It looks fairly big from the outside, but is even bigger inside with several distinct areas. Yes it’s got three pool tables and various dartboards, but most people come here to watch the footy and for this there are more screens than you can shake a stick at. I stopped counting at 15 and that didn’t include the two massive pull down projection screens. Its size means it can accommodate large groups and has plenty of space for quite a crowd to sit and watch the screens and it was filling up nicely on the evening of England’s opening world cup game.
Plenty of fizz taps on the bar with standard lager and cider options as you would expect, but surprisingly four ale handpumps dotted about and decent pints of Otter bitter and Ringwood 49’er was enjoyed whilst watching Uruguay slip up against Costa Rica.
I’d imagine it gets quite lively during the big games but we chose to move on to a smaller venue, which when regarding the England result was probably the right idea.
Decent sports pub for catching the game with a group of your mates, but not one to bring your misses to for a quiet drink.

Large pub close to Chichester train/bus stations & the bus pick up for Goodwood racecourse. Usual draught selection plus 4 real ales. The pub has 3 pool tables & dartboards & was advertising poker nights.
