Soup Dragon left this review about The Woodbine
A detahced triangular shaped corner pub - which was attached to the Highgate/Davenports Brewery. It is white painted brick, with dormer windows and is older than it looks.
The interior has two rooms. The lounge?, to the right on entry, was all dark at my visit, so i didnt see it. The bar, to the left, is a long room, which ends in an area where there is a pool table and dart board. The decor was white, green and some red and cream ceiling, but looked tired. There is a brick fireplace, which had a large mirror above it and lots of old local photographs of Wolverhampton on the walls. There is a TV, which had some daytime stuff on and a few sporty trophies. The service was fine, the clientele just a few.
Beer; all tap stuff with Highgate MILD and Davenports bitter, which turned out to be Worthington.
Nothing for the real ale drinker and a rather tired looking place. One for the locals, I cant see myself coming back.
