This is a great looking Banks's corner pub with a patio area at the back. It is a 1920s in a mock-17th century continental style, with its Dutch gables and its moulded door and window stonework. It is in a nice mix of traditional and blue brick. It is a gay pub. The interior is a single room in light blue, with some light blue patterned wallpaper, white ceiling and patterned carpet. There is a pool table one end and a DJ area the other, which was hidden behind a glod curtain with little lights on it. The walls have posters for drinks and music nights on them,as well as televisions advertising the same. The seating is a little tired - lots of tape on it. The service was fine and there was just one other person in. Beer; no real ale, usual tap stuff - i had a decent enough Oyster Stout.

Looks closed from the outside, but has an ultra modern interior, quite a surprise seeing its location, one open room with starry wallpaper.

Actually a gay bar but welcomes all, the glittery gold curtain at the one end is a little camp.

Banks bitter and various lagers on keg.
