A modern 1960s detached, unexciting, undressed brick Banks's estate pub, with a patio area and small kids' playground.
The interior had a large open-plan room, which was divided into a family area and a general area. The decor seemed to be coffee and cream walls with white ceiling. The familiy area has a small fireplace, a raised section and a pool table and punch-bag machine. The general part had a TV, with the footy on and a DJ kind of area, as well as another raised section, with a dartboard. There were a few boxing pictures here. The bar is a nice wood panel, with mirrors and green tiles - the roof is a sloping one - so a little different. The service was functional and the clientele a few locals watching the Sky TV. The music was charty at a decent level.
Beer; no real ale, all keg stuff - had a bitter shandy
Nothing for the real ale fan, one for the locals really.
