Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Minerva
Three-part village pub with quite a plain and sparsely furnished bar in the centre, a smaller games room to the left and a larger lounge on the right-hand side with more comfortable seating and more decoration. Also has a refurbished front patio garden area. With the pair of handpumps being sadly out of use, made do with a quick John Smiths (£3.65).

A deceptively large detached pub, with cream render and a small patio
The interior is open plan with three areas. There is a sport area, with pool, darts some old photos and is in white and green. The middle area, is the bar; it has a wood floor, , traditional stools and is in white, green and a burnty orangey colour. The lounge is at the far end; it has the sofa/leather comfy chair/table and chairs mix. Carpeted, it has a nice brick fireplace, Sky TV and old photos and is in the white, red and orange. Service was ok and it was busy, with a mixed clientele.
Beer; usual tap stuff, with Theakston's Dark Smooth and Theakston's MILD on keg - i always have the MILD, which is decent. On handpull there was London Pride and Spekky Hen.
The pub is always worth a visit, i dont get to it as much as i would like as its awkward
