UPDATE - just had the exterior painted in white and black
JUNE 2011: The pub is a detached, little cottage styled pub, with extensions and is in white and a brown/dark red render, with a beer garden
The interior is an L-shaped open plan room, though it has three clear areas. To the left on entry (the serving bar faces you) there is a small extension with sofas and comfy chairs in, with a TV that wasn't on at my visit. The main area curves around the serving bar. This area is in white and salmon split walls, with Chesterfield leather style seating. The floor and bar area are wood and the there is a TV that had Sky Sports on. There is a snug area at far end. It is in yellowy wallpaper with red pattern. There is a little fireplace and a TV, again not on. The background music was soft and general stuff. The service was really friendly, as were the locals at the bar, who wished me well as i left.
Beer; tap stuff with a decent Highgate MILD, with Enville Ale, Pardoe's Bumblehole, Timothy Taylor Landlord and Hop Back Summer Lightning on handpull.
Had a few visits here and the place just gets better - i could stay here for hours as the beer choice is great and it feels friendly. It's a little out the way for me, but i have to go back and spend a good few hours here to enjoy it to its full. GO!

Black Country boozer, not large but with a modern lounge area with modern tables & comfy chairs and beam. The front bar has a modern serving area and a darts board to one side and a mix of furnishings. A nicely looked after pub.
4 real ales, slightly warm for my taste.

Always a good range of ales that are well kept. Very friendly staff and customers. An excellent traditional Black Country pub.
