A large detached brick build, with white and timber gables, Two for One chain, pubco place, with small patio, wacky warehouse for the kids.
Saying that, the interior has two rooms in the pub - an over 21s bar area, in yellow and white mainly, with comfy chairs and TV; the other being the family dining area on a couple of levels. The family room is also mainly in yellow walls and white ceiling, with some exposed brickwork and fake ceiling beams. The art work is a mix of the general prints to the arty tosh. The service was fine, the food straight-forward, as it generally is in this kind of place and the background music was supplied by the radio strangely.
Beer; all basic keg drinks - no real ale, no MILD and not even a continental lager - i had coke.
For those that dont really care about real ale and are looking for a cheapy place for the family - it does what it says on the tin really. I simply wouldnt go back as the beer choice was simply too limited for my tastes - but it was busy enough, so in general it fulfills expectations.
