The White Swan is no more. There are now no pubs left on Bromford Lane. It is now a Turkish restaurant called Kebub.

A bizarre shaped little detached pub, with patio area. It looks like two different pubs shunted together. The top half is in a mock-Tudor style, in white and beam (fakey looking). The bottom half is triangular and in white Georgian rustication, with black bay-windows flanking the front entrance - the side one has been blocked. The interior is now open plan. There was originally three rooms at least - with a snug to the right as you go in and the dart area being a separate room. The room is in white and black, with a white ceiling and patterned carpet. There is a TV (silent) and the music was general and at a decent level. It looks tidy, with red perimeter seats and wood chairs. The service was fine and a few mature locals were in. It looks a little bare, without much in the way of pictures etc. Beer; no real ale and just a few keg taps - including Banks's MILD. I had a shandy. This is a really nice pub, it just doesn't sell much on the beer front. If only it did a real ale - as it is, nothing much to pop in for.
