A detached little cottage styled pub with a small patio area in the middle of nowhere it seems. The pub is in a mix of brick (upper) and white render (lower), with the porched entrance being flanked by two small bay-windows. The pub seems to be going a little downhill, as there are no letters on the pub sign anymore. The interior still has a couple of rooms. To the right there is a lounge in white artex and brick, with an 80s style beamed ceiling, a burner in the fireplace and brasses to decorate. The main bar is in red and white, with a wood floor, beamed ceiling and brick chimney breast. There is a pool table and dart board at one end and a TV, which had Faulty Towers on. The service was fine and it seemed busy enough with locals from somewhere about! Beer; no real ale, usual keg with no MILD. I had a shandy. A really nice pub, but i do fear for it - just needs a real ale for my personal taste.
