Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Farmers Boy
Well-maintained estate pub with a four-part L-shaped interior: a games area with a dartboard as you enter, a seating area to the rear, the bar off to the right and the pool room beyond that. Semi-modern furniture and decoration throughout. They did reintroduce cask ale relatively recently, but sadly now gone again, so resorted to the John Smith's (£3.20) before heading back.

The exterior of this 60s looking detached brick building is fairly bland, as most seem to be from that period
The interior is a lot better. I has an open plan room, with a bar and a lounge area. The bar has a pool room, area, with sporty pictures, Sky TV and ESPN, darts, a few trophies on display and is in cream decor, with some wood panel. The lounge is more decorated with old pictures/photos and an ornate mirror and looks like its in a plumy kind of colour. Service was good and there was a good and mixed clientele - it was a 'medium' night.
Beer; all tap tosh i am afraid, with adecent Banks's MILD.
I liked this place from the inside, sadly it could do with a real ale, but i would pop in from time to time, just for the MILD
