Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Deers Leap
Impressive-looking 1930s? suburban pub, now part of the Sizzling pubco chain. Retains two separate bars, and whilst refurbished, these have a little more character than many other similar establishments. Also has a basic rear beer garden and a few wooden benches out front. The original bowling green also remains in use. No real ale, unfortunately, but the Banks's Bitter and Original mild (£2.75) are available from the keg offerings.

A large detached brick build with patio at front and beer garden at back
The interior has two rooms, the smaller of which I didn’t see. The main room was an open L shape with a multi-coloured walls; green, red, yellow etc. There were a few small fireplaces, with a mix of old photos and arty pictures on the walls to add a bit of interest. The service was functional and the clientele mixed, though it was quite busy.
Beer; all tap stuff, with a drinkable enough Banks’s MILD.
No real ale, so that really means I wouldn’t bother going again. Bog standard kind of pub.
