Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Beggars Bush
Substantial Greene King pub / restaurant in a prominent corner position on a major crossroads. Sadly, the rather impressive interior, with fine detailing on both facades and in the bow windows, is not reflected in the opened out, corporately refurbished, multi-space interior. The food was also unavailable available due to some garbled excuse I didn't bother to explore further, and all five handpumps had reversed clips. However, it turned out that the Landlord (£3.42 with 10% Camra discount) was actually on, and I settled for that.

An impressive brick and stone detached corner pub, with mock battlements, large chimney stacks and several gables. It has a patio area and is a part of the John Barras chain.
The interior is open plan around, though not encircling the large central bar. The decor is a mix of colours - like a packet of Skittles - a rainbow of fruit flavours. The walls are mixed, and not of all of one colour, with; cream, light blue, yellow, plum, salmon, white, dark blue all featuring. There was also some wood panel and the central feature is a wood surround fireplace and a central staircase that leads up to the bogs! There are a number of old photos on the walls, as well as the footy stuff for the world cup. The place is mainly foody - with a value menu (i didnt eat - so cant comment there), though there are some sofas and comfy chairs around. There are a number of TVs with Sky stuff on and a couple of pool tables in a more bar kind of 'area'. The service was functional, the clientele a mix, though i get the feeling it would be more younger based at times. The background music was charty, but a decent level.
Beer; all keg stuff, but the Ansell's MILD was decent. No real ale.
The lack of real ale means for me personally it's the kind of place you come to eat, or stop off for one - which i would be more than happy to do after trying the MILD

The Beggars Bush is a huge, open plan pub. It serves the usual beer and Ansells Mild on tap.The food is plentiful, cheap and cheerful. It's fine for a pint watching the football and is not as bad as its past reputation suggests. However, I confess I do not frequent the pub often and I don't venture in at night...

good atmosphere, openlog fires, many offers on food and drinks, lots of flatscreens with plenty of footie games!
