I could hear the blaring music from the Garibaldi from around the corner as I approached at around 19:30 on a recent Friday evening. The bar area is through to the left where an angled L-shaped counter faces seating under the front and left-hand windows, as well as a dartboard in the front left corner. A handful of locals were sat watching swimming from the Olympics, I think most would have preferred the music to be off. At the rear is a seating area with a piano and to the right of the entrance is a games area with pinball, a pool table and another dartboard. I don’t think standard keg alongside three unused hand pumps is going to draw many non-locals in.
