This is a detached pub with patio area. It is a modern estate pub, built after redevelopment of the area - when the park was created and the old housing ripped down. It is typical in style, a house surrounded by low-level extention. It is of undressed brick and has locomotive wheels as features in the fencing. The interior has a couple of rooms. The main room is the bar, which is in white and wood panel, with a little red (including the seats) and laminate floor. There is a pool table, dart board, table footy game and a punchbag machine here, giving a bit of a cluttered feel. There are no pictures, but there is a TV (daytime programmes) and music via the jukebox. They serve a selection of Indian dishes £5-6 ish, with a menu on the wall. The service was OK and the clientele small, but nicely cosmopolitan. The back room is tidy from what i could see - it too has a pool table and a collection of prnts on the walls. It is in the same white, but with red carpet. Beer; no real ale, usual tap stuff but the M&B MILD had ran out. I had an OKish Guinness. Great for pub games and food, just sadly lacks a beer choice for my tastes.
