I have to echo some of the previous reviews. The Old Bush Revived was my second Black Country Ales pub of the day and apart from being much quieter than the Bridge Inn in Kingswinford, it had very similar features. In many ways, they remind me of smaller versions of Wetherspoon's. But they're not quite as cheap.
Cricket was showing on TVs without sound, with music playing instead. There was a dartboard on the right-hand side and a games machine to the rear left. The usual black and white pictures of the local area could be found on the walls. I was surprised when my phone connected automatically to the wifi. As Ian says below, the password is the same in each pub.
Toiletries in both gents and ladies toilets were an unexpected bonus. Dogs are welcome and there is outdoor seating to the rear.
Cask ales were Black Country Ales BFG, Pig on The Wall, Fireside, Citra Sublime & Jubilee IPA, Facer's Plum Porter, Oakham Thirteen Steps, Salopian Firewall & Little Brewing Company Taj. Ciders were Lilley's Cherries and Berries & Gladiator & Pulp Tequila Sunrise. Cobs and Scotch Eggs
I do still like the BCA chain of pubs, but it would be nice if some of their houses offered something a little different from the standard identikit fare. This pub was particularly quiet when we visited early on a Sunday evening. So, atmosphere was lacking. Probably much better when a few are in.

Identikit Black County Ales Pub. Individually, they are fine. In fact, most of what I am looking for in a pub. When you have just come out of the Swan (another BCA Pub), the lack of variety can get a bit boring. Everything from the cloth covering of the seats to the font that was written on the loo doors to the wifi password was the same in the two environments.
This was a lower score due to the beer not to the same high standard (Hop Back Citra, adequate), low number of customers and landlord/landlady minding their toddler on the bar, complete with loud musical toys.
I'm sure its fine at busier times.

I agree with Delboy, another great BCA pub. The interior was wallpapered and carpeted throughout, along with comfortable upholstered banquette seating. The bar was facing us on the left of the front entrance along with a flat screen beer board. 9 ales, four of which were from BCA, along with five guest ales which were Sharps Twin Coast, Holdens Golden Glow, St Austell Proper Job, Vale Hoptimist and Hopback Hop Jam. There was also two ciders Gwynt Y Ddraig Ancient Warrior and Lilleys Mango. The locals were really friendly on our Saturday afternoon visit and a lot of them were tucking into hot pork cobs.

Another great BCA pub. 8 ales on when I called with the usual 4 BCA beers plus 4 guests. My pint of Mallinsons Columbus was excellent. Friendly service. Cobs, pork pies etc on offer. Well worth a visit.

A detached cottage styled Banks's pub, in white painted brick. Apparently just re-opened after a large refurbishment and being closed for 3 years.
The interior is technically open plan, but in effect has two smaller rooms that form an L-shape around the serving bar. The decor is red and white textured wallpaper. There is a dart board in the back area, which seemed to be set out for dining and what looked like a private function when we visited. They do food, but we didn't eat so can't comment on that. There is a bit of ephemera on the walls, including some old newspapers. The TV wasn't on and there was no backbround music. The service was fine and the place was busy with a mixed clientele.
Beer; tap stuff with Banks's MILD and bitter on electronic cask pump and Hobgoblin on handpull. The MILD was fine.
A perfectly fine place that looks tidy and does real ale. Worth popping into.
