A detached corner pub in white render and black paintwork and is currently for sale.
The interior has a couple of rooms, but the longe was in darkness. The bar room is served by the same central serving bar and had a mixed decor of grey, green, red, yellow and white, with white ceiling and a couple of undressed brick chimney breasts - the place looks a little tired without being scruffy. It is spacious and is on split levels and had pool, darts and a TV, which had the soaps on, for a change and there was no music. The pictures on the walls are bistoish really, landscapes and wine glasses and seem out of place. The service was fine and the locals consisted of a few young, but pleasant people, but it did seem empty.
Beer; all tap stuff, no real ale. Usual taps with an OK Banks's MILD.
Seemed to be very quiet. A basic but friendly enough place.
