Recently opened again, only four ales on at present. According to the barman, there are plans to have more and also serve food again if the trade picks up.
Had a very nice pint of Ludlow Gold but sadly was the only customer. Hope the drinkers do return as it would be a shame to see the pub close for good.

Called into this 2015 Good Beer Guide pub yesterday and it was packed with folk watching the football on TV. Went through to the bar and room in the back where there were more ales on. Enville ales popular here, but I chose a Caledonian Autumn Red which was fine.

This is an end terraced pub and eatery. This is a Victorian pub that has been somewhat modernised. The pub is in white render, with green paintwork on the upper casement windows and the large lower bay window. The interior has a couple of rooms, which were in white. The lounge is for food and has some seating too - mind you, nobody was dining, there was a quiz on. This room has a wood floor, bistro art and high stools too. The other room has a moulded cornice, a grate fireplace and old photos, as well as a TV (not on). There was no music. The service was fine and a few locals were in quizzing it. Beer; usual tap stuff with Doombar, Wye Valley HPA, Timothy Taylor Landlord, Sarah Hughes Dark Ruby MILD, Enville Ale and Ginger on handpull. The Envilles were in fine form. The is a little sterile as an environment for my personal taste, but the beer choice and quality was excellent. A must do.
