Nick Davies left this review about The Rainbow Inn
Attractive 17th centre building in the centre of the village on then original line of the main Birmingham - Coventry road. Must have been a Courage pub once, judging by the golden cockerel outside. Inside it's pleasingly traditional. Opened out now, but with darts and TV in the public bar area to the left and banquette seating and a fire in the plusher bit to the right. Extensive smokers' facilities and a garden area. One of the outbuildings is signed 'Rainbow Brewery' but this does not appear operational. Beers include a couple of the usual GK suspects plus Purity Ubu and Mad Goose, the latter OK but served far too cold. All the rest of the early evening clientele were on wifebeater.
Catering centres around a patent hot stone system featuring delicacies such as zebra and ostrich. OK if you like that sort of thing, I suppose.
